japanese curry part 1

January 28, 2026
Today my physical therapist mentioned he had a great Japanese curry recipe, that he'd been developing and refining for some time. I asked him if he could share it with me because it sounded awesome, and I hadn't had any recently. He said he would send me an email with it attached; I headed to the store after my appointment and began filling my cart.

When I checked the email to make sure I had everything, the attachment was nowhere to be found! He had forgotten to attach it. I bought what I could remember anyways, and xreferenced a recipe I found online (warning: classic life story preceding recipe type deal).

It turned out pretty good. I have been accused of putting too many chunk-ingredients into soups and stews before, throwing off the delicate balance of solid:liquid. I can confirm that almost every one of these recipes is better when you don't have to hunt for a vegetable or piece of meat. Will make my pt's recipe soon.
